Boondocking areas along the Glenn hwy?

Little Nelchina State Recreational Area is at MP 174.8 which is about 95 miles from Palmer. It sits right on the Little Nelchina River. We have stopped there 3 times. Since we don't fish I can't speak to what is in the river but have seen people fishing there each time we stopped.

It is a FREE campground with no services. Several sites on the upper level are large enough to take a 45' motorhome but the ones on the lower level are for smaller units. A very nice place to stop off for the night.

Sourdough BLM campground is maybe an hour north of Glenallen - right on the river for some fishing. ST

Eureka can be nice as long as the wind is blowing enough to keep the bugs away. You can also try to camp at the HAARP place like Jesse Ventura tried, let us know how THAT works out. Have fun!
