Depends what route you want to take to Alaska. Coutts-Sweetgrass then north on 2 to 16 and west to 43 would be the most direct route but not overly scenic. 93 north to the Trans Canada gives you a couple of options or you could go to 97 then north. The latter is very scenic but I admit to being biased, I grew up in the B.C. Okanagan valley.:B
