No news from the USA but effective Aug.9 fully vaxed US citizens can enter Canada. So vehicle travel to Mexico has not changed. Good news for Americans wanting to drive to Alaska.

On the 2nd thought, the US are right about being cautious. Canada's announcement was definitely not well thought out. Cases are not dropping in Canada anymore. In the fall children - mostly unvaccinated - will go back to school, people will congregate indoors, both in (now open) restaurants and in their homes, the situation will get worse and restrictions will return. In most of the world cases have been rising for the past few weeks.
