Bringing a gun, staying out of trouble in Canada

I'm a sportsman and hope to enjoy that when north of Canada. The issue is getting a firearm past Canada without actually transporting it. My understanding is that the rules are zero tolerance regard...

Rifles are easy to take to Canada, just file out the paperwork and pay the fee at the border. Pistols, no way.....

You can ship rifles and shotguns to "yourself" in care of someone else without using FFL (in US).
