Very nice. I noticed that the google view refers to the Hwy most of us call the Cassiar as the Dease Lake Hwy. from Dease Lake south, many will still refer to the highway as the Dease Lake Hwy , have even heard it called the Stewart-Dease Lake, by some. Much like Alaska, where a number of roads have several local names, often depending on where they go.

WE used a COUPLE of rest areas on both routes but most of the time it was by a lake front, gravel pit or stream side stops. No shortage of overnight locations. Having a map would help so long as you can download it in advance but most of the way we had no internet service.

I agree this would be handy if you could download it as there usually isn't any internet connection on the roads. The Govt. of the day , about 15 years ago, shut down a lot of rest areas, due, i think to vandalism. That was too bad! So, now i don't drink as much coffee as before!! :)
