Our interests:
1. The great outdoors - walking (not too strenuous 2-3 hour hikes on good paths. Probably not available in the Rockies!!), paddling, swimming, fishing, drinking in the atmosphere, views, etc, wildlife watching, photography
2. Food & Drink. Locally produce food, wine & beer (DH), local eateries serving fresh local food, wineries & microbreweries
3. Things historical, cultural, geological .............. most things, really that can be carried out easily from RV, but preferably not too busy. We don't do lines if we can help it:(
Well the areas and locations I posted earlier about as quite and not crowded as your going to get. A lot of people bypass this area because they don't like the mountain passes and hilly windy roads that you have to go on to get here.
All the main roads are paved and in good conditions. There are many hikes like the one up Idaho Peak are spectacular, we are surrounded by lakes and rivers and most places are easy to get to by car/ RV.
All the other places people have talked about are great as well so you sure have a lot of thinking to do.
If you would like any more info send me a private message I would be happy to give you more detailed info for the areas around here.
