a little followup on my last post re: hiway 152, as you are located in Arizona you know already how to drive in windy areas so the drive up Pacheco Pass wont bother you much with the unexpected gusty side winds around the San Luis Lake area, going down the west side keep your speed below 55-60 and you'll be OK. Casa De Fruita on 152 sells some really good dried fruit (mostly local) - there is also a CG there, sometimes can be busy when there is an event happening - if you decide to stay at the Mission farms CG, I should mention it's also withing walking distance to the old Mission and downtown.
