266 is flat and straight. 166 starts out the same, but crosses the White Mtns (below the Bristlecone Forests) on an old wagon route - following a winding dry stream valley, often crossing the stream bed without bridge or culvert. That means lots of curves and dips. I'm sure local ranchers drive it with the horse trailers all the time, but an RV driver might not like it.
