- _1FlyboyExplorer II. . .I like 128 better; easier, more scenic & GREAT with a 31' pulled by a quad cab; too much yanking & banking on 20. . . Also a great place to stop for food & fuel in Boonville. . .Have boondocked in the school parking lot by the airport 1 nite, , ,YMMV. . .Take 128 over & return on 20 & split the difference???

128 can probably be used to get to the coast but it would not be my choice with your rig and toad. The speed you can drive on 128 will be slow. Hwy 20 is not that far out of the way and much more RV friendly:) - MarkTwainExplorer

Anybody use 128 from 101 to hwy 1 on the coast? I have taken 20, but a buddy of mine claims this is the better route with fewer grades and keeps you away from Clear Lake traffic. Thoughts?
Thanks
Bill
IMHO 128 is not really RV friendly. It also depends on the size of your RV. Its a great motorcycle ride:)
