Going west on I70?? here is an alternative From Granby - rather than south/east on US 40 to I 70, over Berthoud Pass, go west to Kremmling and south on 9 to meet I70 at Silverthorne. No passes so far - missing Berthoud Pass and Eisenhower tunnel. ( is a beautiful drive along the Blue River).
