Looking to go on over to Rifle State Park from Grand Lake. Liked the idea of going down 9 to Silverton to meet 70 and miss Bertround Pass. Looking at the map and see 134 to 131 which goes on over further west and meets 70. What kind of road is it? My mountain west book doesn't show any passes but it does look curvey probably narrow too. This route would even miss Vail Pass. Input please from those who have driven it.
