Cajon Pass (I-15, California) closed by fire today

Do any of you remember the fire fighter tragedy in Arizona? The fire fighters were on the top of the hill, the wind direction changed and the fire roared up that hill killing them. It happened in seconds.

It seems this fire acted the same - roaring uphill and over the interstate. Personally, I wouldn't blame the vehicles/passengers. Also, the vehicle fires didn't start because they were idling!
