California 395 north to Oregon in early February

We will be leaving Yuma AZ in early February and thinking about taking 395 from California 58 to Lakeview Oregon. Is it passable that early in the year. We will not be on a tight schedule so could st...

I love US Hwy 395! Many USFS and BLM campgrounds will be closed but Tuttle Creek BLM near Lone Pine will be open with a dump and water and Holiday USFS near Tom’s Place will also be open but isn’t always clear of snow - dump and water usually closed. Most of Inyo County’s CGs will be open too. Shooting for remake of Gunga Din in Alabama Hills doesn’t start until March, I hear.
