campground in Huatulco

Does anyone know if the campground in Huatulco will be open this winter? It's in the parking lot of the public beach at Tangolunda. We heard last year that the golf course had been sold and big plans were being made, including, perhaps, the elimination of the parking area. We're wondering what we will find next February.

    That's us. Looking forward to another winter in Huatulco and meeting old and new friends.

    Great news! Do you spend most of the winter there? I believe we've met you there the last two years. We camped next to you last year for a few days. We had the old black diesel truck with the well-worn pop-up camper. Looking forward to seeing you there again.

    We have friends in Huatulco living in a condo and they have driven thru the campground in the last couple of weeks and assure us it will be open this winter. The golf course is another story. You may find my wife and I there in Feb.
