Williston Crossing is where we stay when visiting friends in Gainsville. Its a super nice park with level concrete pads and long pull thrus. The campgrounds right off I75 are LOUD truck traffic all night. Its about 16 quiet country miles from either of the south Gainsville exits to Williston, then use 27 south to Ocala from Williston the next day. Its about 20 mins off 75 but a lovely modern super clean RV park. Big swimming pool, ultra clean modern showers, etc and winding paved roads thru shady oaks for an evening stroll. After pounding down 75 its a nice two night relaxing stay if you want a break. We have been all over the US and there are not many parks nicer than this one for a very quiet relaxing stay.

This has been our choice a couple of times. Decidedly non-urban, and that's why we liked it so much.
