What a wealth of knowledge this thread is! One question about insurance though. To my knowledge in Ontario, Canada you're not required to have insurance specifically for your trailer (I was able to register ours without). We normally stay very close to home, as a single income home we just don't need the extra expense.
However.
Our little ones have caught wind of Fantasy Island in Upstate New York, its much closer than Canada's Wonderland and much less expensive.
My question is.. Do I legally require trailer insurance in NY state?
FWIW Fantasy Island is about 25 minutes from our house to the Fantasy Island KOA. We're fair weather travelers, no sun no go.
However.
