Canadian Border

We have had only one instance at the border returning into Canada. We declared our purchases as we were under the $800 per person exemption, the border officer was extremely nervous and asked me several questions twice think she lost her place on thd script. She informed me that I owed duty and to pull over for inspection, all the slots were full. The officers doing the inpections were getting frustrated and I overheard one say to the another about the RV beside us "look at the drugs just sitting on the back seat" A supervisor came over and asked what she had pulled me aside for. I showed him my yellow slip and the reciepts , he shakes his head, sends me on my way, and marches over to her kiosk.

When I have my trailer behind our camper we always get asked if we own the unit and some random question, but we know the rules and don't want to be hassled.
