Not true ,you will however need to appear at a local canadain tire for a inspection,I believe they are mostly interested in the propane systems .
I wittnessed a inspection and it was routine and no drama,The inspector checked propane compartment and all the RIVA stickers that indicate complyance.

Day time driving lights are right at the top of the inspection list.
Sorry trailer guy myself so speedo and DTR lights are not on my radar,also RV must have a letter that states all recalls are done ,important on a motorized vehical.
