Don't know if it's the actual law but I've been refused at several propane refill stations in Ontario because our mh was over 10 years old and the on-board propane tank (Class A) had not been re-certified. They told me that in Ontario, they aren't allow to refill a tank that hasn't been certified / re-certified for over 10 years. When it's happened, I just went to another station. I tried to get it re-certified once but the mechanic who did it was on vacation or something and couldn't get it down and never tried again after.
