The most usual case for "dawdling" is only when snowbirds are returning to their northern mating areas. News reports too often paint a grim picture, with snow and ice still in abundance over their lakes - and properties. But before, with autumn looking too much like winter, there was NO dawdling!
"Proposed changes" are one thing, getting longstanding laws and rules changed is another. Regardless, we find that we have enough time to spend away from home, wherever we go. With 7 months away now available to BC'ers (we heard) its very easy to nip into Mexico or fly to Central America or the Carribean to adhere to USA regulations regarding their time limits.
