Caravan Rant
Just need to vent a little. All these caravans marching around Alaska are starting to really agrivate me. They come into campgrounds and make it difficult for those of us with the gumption of going...

It totaled a full size Buick Electra. It would probably killed or seriously hurt the person in the Pinto. The Pinto driver contacted the sheriff for me (before cell phones) and was very grateful. The Cattle company paid for my car because I could prove negligence on there part. There was 3 prior accidents, one was a fatality.
Deer story - late one evening I was driving north on Hwy 97 south of 100 Mile House, trying to make time so was driving very late, near midnight. A pickup pulled out to pass me, so I slowed down to let him go by. He got back in the northbound lane in front of me and all of a sudden he swerved hard towards the ditch and his truck rolled. A deer had jumped in front of him and he had swerved to avoid it. But he didn't - deer died and his truck was wrecked. Some spirit was taking care of me on that trip - if the truck hadn't passed me I could have been the one to hit the deer.
