Casper Wy to Grand Lake Co

Head south out of Casper ----CY Ave/220
Then WY487 (just after Bessemer Bend)------WY287 (Medicine Bow)
WY287-----Laramie then WY230 south crossing over into CO(127)
CO127---CO125 to 40 towards Granby for 2 miles then 34E into Grand Lake


6 hr drive ----8 hr trip time

^^^^^ This. Just did the portion between Laramie and Walden/Rand earlier today, in reverse.

Goodly 7 mile climb at 7% from Woods Landing/Jelm up to Mountain Home on WY 230. Big burn area also along WY 230, showing the recent fires up there.

Make sure you have a full fuel tank. There's no fuel stops to speak of, no diesel between Laramie and Walden and that's about 65 miles. Two places in Walden to fuel up, both have diesel if needed. Then no fuel from Walden to Granby, which is another 60 or so miles. Willow Creek Pass to go over, but barely noticable as Colorado passes go.
