Suggestions of roads to take from Charleston,SC to Montgomery,AL and rv parks you may have stayed at. Currently at James Island County Campground ....leaving here the beginning of March.

Personally, I would prefer dropping down to Savannah and picking up I-16 rather than taking I-20 through Atlanta (did I mention that I hate driving/towing through Atlanta?). There also aren't very many good places to stay passing through Atlanta on 20 - the good places are all north of there, in my opinion, of course. We use military campgrounds in the Augusta, GA, area, but if you're not eligible for those, Heritage RV Park in Augusta is the only other place I would consider staying there. Sorry I can't help you more.
