chattahoochee bend state park

I'm going to chattahoochee bend state park from Birmingham can someone help me with the best route. I will be pulling a 35' 5th wheel. Thanks for the help.
  • For me I think the best way is to stay on 27 out of Carrollton to Franklin and go east on Hwy 34. Turn left onto Thomas Powers Rd and follow the signs. Good roads and I think it was a lot easier I came back that way. Thanks for the help. I hope this will help others.
  • We went there last year. Nice park, a little bit of a zig zag the way we went. We had a blow out on the way in on fw and our spare was one I had taken off because it was starting to fail, so I needed to get a tire quick. After we got to our site, we headed to town (Newnan). Our gps (not for rv's) showed a short cut, so we went that way. I was very happy that we didn't have fw with us then. When we left the cg a few days later, we stuck with the major roads and didn't try shortcuts.
  • Thanks for the help. In Carrollton the GPS takes me around Northside Dr is that the best way pulling the RV.
  • Yelp I can. Exit 11 on I 20 this is US27 down to Sargent and follow the signs.
