I have been told that mid-July thru August is the best time due to weather for 7 weeks in those states. Do you agree?
If you are coming from East Texas as we are, this would be an ideal time to get away from our heat and humidity.
I would not limit my travel to the Rocky Mountains to these dates, but I expect they may ideal for this whole range of states. We just got back from Colorado (early September) and, if anything, felt that was a bit early.
