- The lower section along the Black Canyon to Hwy 50 is curvy. Be aware that that route is being used as a detour due to the construction on Hwy. 50 halfway between Gunnison and Montrose and there is a 70' restriction. Check out https://www.us50info.com/impacts for more info.
