We caravaned in multiple cars from north GA through Cherokee, NC to Pigeon Forge, TN for an October wedding about 12 years ago. Took the slow scenic route up through Gainesville to US-441 because of the leaves.

Watch the cars, they turn off and pull out in front of you without looking. We had quite a few close calls, but it was beautiful.
