We left our motorhome near Livengood and did a day trip to the Arctic Circle our first visit to Alaska, then kicked ourselves that we didn't at least get to Coldfoot. So on our trip in 2014 we went to Coldfoot and then on to Wiseman before turning around. It is a long way, but it's all day light driving and so worth it. I would not take my RV on the road. Next trip we'll get to Prudhoe Bay, maybe by plane.
