Couple of OZ surfers missing in Mexico

Has anyone read an article stating a crime was committed? Did they say they were murdered? Did they say they were shot? I did not see that article. I have known of campers who ran their engine to keep warm and died of fumes. Those old Coleman heaters could kill by using up all the oxygen. Are there specific details or is this speculation? Do we have facts or is speculation being presented as fact as we see so often in the media these days? Does anyone have answers or sources of answers? Where are the facts?
