Cracker Barrel Prob Tenn

Those that pull larger fifth wheels or travel trailers beware. Exit 347 on I 40 in Tennessee for Cracker Barrel has a steep entrance from the highway that will scrape your rear. I did mine and you are committed once you start turning from the highway and see the problem. There are a lot of scrape marks on the entrance and I added mine. Hopefully, no significant damage found - as yet. The food was good as usual. I suggest you stop at another CB location in the area.

Another Cracker Barrel problem is the food!

Seriously? Ever been to one or is that just a random comment?

We stop at Cracker Barrel every chance we get and have never had a bad meal.

I'd rather eat a two day old Big Mac! The veggies are always limp, the chicken dumplings are like wall paper paste. Since they changed the cornbread recipe it's terrible. I could go on....

  • Nothing wrong with good southeastern country food. Depends on your taste. Having eaten in CBs all over, starting with the original in Lebanon, TN. we have been dissapointed very few times. We expect good food, and good service from a friendly staff. If not, I always let the manager know, and have been known to notify corporate. Also, if the food and or service is really good, I always ask for the manager and tell him so.
  • is that the us27 exit just west of Kingston?? Harriman-Rockwood?
  • thats one reason we down sized, we,ve had big rig,s and for just two people we think there more of a pain than there worth, we now have a sprinter leisure travel van 25ft and it,ll go any where. I know that cracker barrel yep a real pain for a larger rv.
  • I probably won't be that way anytime soon but thanks so much for the warning. These things are so wonderful to know ahead of time.
