Cracker Barrel

We have Cracker Barrel here in ID. I would say that Black Bear Diner would be about the closest to Cracker Barrel, but they are different.

There is nothing like Cracker Barrel except Cracker Barrel, and they aren't here. For the same type and quality of food in a chain, you might try Shari's.

For tasty Southern cuisine although not part of a chain you might try this place in Portland

There is NO Chain in the NW that serves food like Cracker Barrel! I see Cracker Barrel as Comfort Food. Good but not great and consistent.

Much like Waffle House, not somewhere i want to eat every meal, but some good food at a reasonable price.

Closest to the NW, in in Boise, ID.

The Black Bear Diner chain might be similar.

We like Cracker Barrel because of the RV parking....the food is so-so.

There is a new Cracker Barrel going in near the Costco in Nampa, Idaho. Good freeway access. It looks like it shouldn't be too long before they open. Can't wait to see if it is like the one I went to in Ohio a few years ago....first time I ever had grits with breakfast.

Shari's, Applebees, ....others are right....nothing like Cracker Barrel. I wonder why they haven't come to Oregon!!!!! If you're in Bend,Oregon, look up Jake's Diner.........best home cooking EVER!

Here's a list of states. Idaho, Arizona and Utah are the closest.
