We really like Bob Evans also, just not as many around. Then too, they don't have all the neat antiques hanging around on the walls like CB does. BTH, it does not have to rare to be an antiques. CB has boxes of stuff at their warehouse, in original crates and boxes, that is antique but was never used. Signs that are 100 years old, but have never been used, Branded bottles and containers that were never used, but some are very old. unused telephone insulators and such. It is a real interesting place if you ever get to tour it.
You know that Cracker barrel owns Bob Evans right?
We have always stopped in the morning at the first Cracker Barrel would could find "outside" of the cities.
I emailed Cracker Barrel 3 different times over the last several years of doing breakfast there. 2 times because no one came to our table in a reasonable time. and once for the food not coming out of the kitchen in a reasonable time.
Did you know that if you did the Momma's breakfast (for instance) that if you request toast for the over easy eggs it is normally given free.
The pancakes must be 6 inches they will make them over or bring you more if you are not happy
The kitchen normally is supposed to have food to you in 6 minutes.
Yeah we know the rules at the cracker and know the better ones in the USA. LOL
