Cross country on secondary roads.
We have been east and west on every major highway that goes across, this year we are doing a fall "see the leaves" trip. our plan is east to Missoula, then Mt 200 to Great Falls, then secondary roads ...

US routes that roughly parallel an Interstate can be great roads for a scenic trip.....except through the mountains.
This means avoiding state and county routes in general.
If semi's won't use the road, you probably shouldn't either.
Of course that depends partly on what vehicle(s) you have.
When you say you've done them "all" already, does that include the trans-continental US 40 and US 50 ?
The downside of this, at least for me, is that 2 lane roads are a LOT more stressful on the driver.
