US routes that roughly parallel an Interstate can be great roads for a scenic trip.....except through the mountains.
This means avoiding state and county routes in general.
If semi's won't use the road, you probably shouldn't either.
Of course that depends partly on what vehicle(s) you have.
When you say you've done them "all" already, does that include the trans-continental US 40 and US 50 ?
The downside of this, at least for me, is that 2 lane roads are a LOT more stressful on the driver.
