CRoute 65 from Bakersfield Ca. to Lemon Cove
Has anyone driven this road lately? Is it in good shape? Just thought we might try a different route than 99. Thanks for any info. TB

- 65 is a two lane rolling highway. Road is in good shape but inpatient drivers trying to pass can be a problem. Not really better than 99 but certainly not worse.
- Lemon Cove is a place I did not think anyone knew of. My GS, Jeromy Robertson, who played for the Houston Astros is from there. 65 was ok some yrs back when we stopped there and I was always towing a RV
- 99 is a real pain anymore, but 65 is two lane trap with farm workers thrown in.
- There's a Walmart distribution center at 190 and 65. Lot of trucks take 65 from 99. Doubt that they would go that way if road was too bad. Haven't been on 65 in a while though.
- It's been a few years since I've been over it, but it was an ok route back then.
