Wow!!! We are having a blast!!! So far we've traveled 1850 miles. Van is running perfect although it is filthy dirty!!! 9.8 mpg. Burned no oil. Added no coolant. Tires still have air. No leaks. Nothing fell off or fell down. Cabinets and drawers staying closed. Fridge nice and cold..... I got nothing.We spent Friday sightseeing in Pittsburgh. Cog train, strip district, outdoor cafe, some history stuff...Saturday we drove 300 miles to Ontario! Open road, good weather, windows open, radio blasting, lunch in the car as we drove... Perfect. The border crossing was very difficult as some indicated it might be. We pulled up to the window and the guard asked to see our passports. Then he asked us if we were carrying any firearms? No, I replied. Then he told us to enjoy our stay and waved us on!!! So stressful!We are staying at KOA Niagra Falls. Hot tub! Indoor heated pool! Free wifi. In the middle of everything! Layout is okay... It's 45 degrees!!! I know I won't get much sympathy but we are from south Florida!!! It's friggin cold!!! But finally no rain! Clear, bright, crisp day!Well we are off sightseeing. I a, currently on a limited international plan for cell service so I will only visit when I have wifi.

Livin' the "Life of Riley". You guys are really moving along.We're not heading out until the fall, so I'm really antsy reading your trip logs.We took our restored '57 Caddy into Canada, on the left coast, and coming back, the US border agent was a real pain in the ass. Nothing I did suited him. Finally I just sat there, with my mouth shut, and watched the wise guy try to figure out how to open the very heavy hood.Drive carefully up there. You might just get into some of that white stuff.
