Del Rio Border
I am considering crossing into Mexico at Del Rio. I drive a Ram 2500 pulling a 33ft fifth. Can anyone give me some advice on this? Where do I stop for FMM? Are the roads south ok? Any info would be helpful.

Hwy 29 from Ciudad Acuña (Del Rio) to Saltillo is one and a half lanes on each side. In pretty good shape. From Saltillo you catch the 57 South.
Immigration is not very big and going through Acuña, a very small town, is easy.
You can check actual highway conditions by using the drag function of the little man, to points along the route and see photos of the pavement.
We have used this route heading north from Monterrey, Saltillo, Del Rio twice in the last couple of years.
