- ae5573tExplorerStayed there this past March/April for 30 days. Park was under renovation, all sites were being upgraded and a couple were supposed to be eliminated. The place should look very nice by now and have a little more room for each of the remaining sites.

I love Ft Pickens very reasonably priced and a good drive back to town .It's around $24 a day.
We spent a week at Ft Pickens in June. Wife loved it, so we went back for another week in August. The 7 mile drive back to "civilization" is beautiful. We never got tired of driving it. The cg only offers water and electricity, but does have a dump station. On our two trips, we stayed on site C002 and E015. Both are good sites. In Gulf Shores, we have stayed many times at Luxury RV and Gulf State Park. Both have a nice pool. You won't go wrong with either one. Happy camping......... - twoppodsExplorerI love Ft Pickens very reasonably priced and a good drive back to town .It's around $24 a day.
- littlemoExplorerWe really enjoyed our stay at Ft Pickens in Pensacola. There are lots of old war relics around to look at and just walk across the road to the beach. Great place for biking and walking. Also go to the Air Naval Museum in Pensacola. Free,(Home of the Blue Angels)
For Pickens
Pensacola Naval Air Museum - katfishExplorerTry Anchors aweigh, good play ground an pool. Also Lake Osprey good Pool no playground.
Good luck... - NORM_WADDELLExplorerI did not mean to belittle Perdido Key. Good place, but
maybe not for kids. I LIKE Perdido Key.
For YOU, consider in Gulf Shores AL Luxury RV, a 2 block
walk to the beach....and Gulf State Park, .in Pensacola consider Fort Pickens,a Federal campground........7 miles from 'civilization',
no shade (like ALL coastal campground after hurricanes).
I can suggest others, but by Private Message might be
better. Try RVPARKREVIEWS.COM in Gulf Shores AL, Foley AL,
Orange Beach AL, Navarre Florida, Holt Florida. - Brandon327ExplorerNorm are there any good parks in Pensacola?
- NORM_WADDELLExplorerI LIKE it. But........
On inland waterway, not gulf.
Gulf is across a busy highway.
Spaces very tight.
NO shade.
Nothing for kids......
No stores or restaurants very close.
Good management.
Good people 'camping' there.
Near Gulf Shores AL.........look on internet...lots there.
Good offshore fishing available.
Pensacola close.......good tourist area.
P M me for more.
