In the United States there's been plenty of paradoxes on display - states that did lock down aggressively have yet to see tangible results compared to states that did not lock down. Even Canada which pulled up all the drawbridges is now seeing upticks of Covid cases.
A year ago we were told to expect a 3% mortality rate - which thankfully didn't come to pass. Right now the Covid mortality rate is half a percent. Don't misunderstand - any death is a tragedy but what if the steps taken - which have serious repercussions - were not effective?
