Deming NM to Holbrook, AZ Rt 180
Kind of a no brainer, but see significant elevation rise on Rt 180 from Deming at Rt 10 north to Petrified Forest/Holbrook. Assuming there is no snow, which is still a question, is that road ok for RV...

180 from Silver City north is a beautiful, but slo uphill drive. Wonderful No frills Forest campground at Luna lake if you want to hear the Elk Bugle. If u'r going to Petrified forest to see petrified wood, don't bother. Almost none left there. Its all in Holbrook front yards. If you come into Holbrook from the south on 180 you'll pass a company that sells all you want! Very impressive display of Giant logs along the Hyway.
