Last 2 weeks of July we are planning a trip to Colorado. 2 nights each in Golden, Moab, Mesa Verde and CS with a 3rd night in one of those. The DW and kids 21, 19, 17, and 10. Looking for suggestions ...

In Moab, be sure to check out Dead Horse State Park which is across the street from Canyonlands National Park. We found it to be much nicer than the national park and better views.
Amazing amount of stuff to do at CS - Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Air Force Academy chapel, etc. A nice surprise was a first class zoo, one of the nicest I've seen. We stayed right in downtown Manitou Springs which I wouldn't do again.
