Thanks for the route advice. It was an easy enjoyable drive. The road around Jewel Cave did leave a bit to be desired but it's still better than some we've driven!
We had a great time in the Black Hills and are heading east back to Indiana. I had hoped to stop at the Corn Palace in Mitchell today but the Corn Festival is this week and we're thinking Mitchell's streets will be jammed up with festival & festival goers. Guess we'll stop the next time we come this way!
We stayed in Murdo last night and enjoyed the Auto Museum. Simply amazing the stuff that is packed in there. For those that aren't into old cars there is much much more to see. Definitely worth the $10 an adult head charge.
