DirecTV reception along the Alaska Highway
In planning for AK 2014 I can't seem to remember if folks can get DirecTV reception along the Alaska Highway in BC, Yukon, and AK. It seems the satellites are too low on the horizon to get reception....

Take it but don't expect much. You will be aiming at the horizon, so if there any trees or clouds, you won't get a signal. If you get a signal you usually lose it around sunset.
