Do you recommend unhitching the dinghy over Monarch Pass?

We will be vacationing in southcentral and southwest Colorado. We drive a Class C and pull a Honda CRV. I've heard Highway 50 and Monarch Pass can be challenging for those not used to mountain driving...

If you are marginal on power, it would be a good way to ease the load on the MH.

If you have sufficient power, it won't hurt but less of an issue.
