Drive British Columbia
For those traveling in British Columbia the government has a website called DriveBC. It gives road conditions and a great feature that has been added showing the location of rest stops. This feature also has street view where a picture has been taken of the stop. This is useful for picking a stop say beside a lake.

When passing through Prince George and are interested in steam locomotives the city runs a small steam train in Fort George park most weekends starting long weekend in may. The locomotive is a Davenport over 100 years old. Ask for Nick, as I am one of the engineers. Myself and one of the others are always open to questions.
