At Emerald Bay there are a couple steep and sharp curves. Otherwise it is just another two lane road. It is doable but in two curves the trailer might go over into the oncoming lane a small amount. Take the east side to Tahoe City via US 50, SR 28 and then SR 89 to Truckee and you will have easier traveling.
