Driving Through San Francisco?
I am planning on a trip to San Francisco and need to know if I can drive my TT and TV across the Golden Gate bridge. Also, what are some good places to stay around that area? Frank

If you are coming from the south
Get off 101 just before San Jose and on to 85 and take that to I-280. Stay on I-280 to the exit for route 1, 19th ave. Try to stay in the center lane and follow the signs thru SF Park to the bridge.
There no tolls or restrictions that way I have been told not to go thru in the morning rush hours so I plan to be there mid day.
If you can Google map it you can see the whole thing.
I also stoped at the north end view area. I did a Google earth on it and you can do a virtual drive thru the whole thing.
A nice to stay is the KOA Petaluma, a short drive into the city.
