Driving Through San Francisco?
I am planning on a trip to San Francisco and need to know if I can drive my TT and TV across the Golden Gate bridge. Also, what are some good places to stay around that area? Frank

We spent a week in Marin RV Park, located in Greenbrae. A short ride (about 30 min) on the Larkspur Ferry drops you off at Pier 1 in San Francisco. Trolley tickets good for a day make it pleasant to sightsee the city. Best way to see the city is camp outside. Ferry rides also to Alcatraz, do some research - lots to see in San Francisco - enjoy.
X2. We stayed at Santa Rosa Fairgrounds north on 101 and drove to the Larkspur Ferry. Got off at Fisherman's Wharf and had pre-arranged for a small van tour of the city. Our daughter who lives there even was very impressed on the knowledgeable driver and the tour, in general. It's the very best way to tour the city.
