East coast fuel stop questions.....

Our first real trip south in the MH (34') coming up this weekend, It looks like fuel stops at:

Flying J - Frystown PA exit 10 off rt78
Flying J - Ruthers Glen, VA exit 104 off rt 95

Any experience at these stops that you could share is appreciated

What say you??

Maybe I don’t understand your question.

My unit is about the same size as yours and I don’t hesitate to go into just about any decent-sized gas station, I’m not sure I’ve ever found one along a major highway that wasn’t suitable.

Are you aiming at only Flying J stations for a particular reason?

    X2.
Flying J is usually higher than other local stations.

I would say it is just "over-thinking" the stop on my part...I figured since these are locations that are RV friendly on their site it would be easier but I am under 12' high so I guess any reasonable access will work.
  • Any larger stations should have sufficient space. You should learn fairly quickly to scan a layout and be able to select your route through it. Remember, the folks designing and building these facilities want rigs like yours (and much bigger) to visit their businesses, they want to make you want to return.
  • I always look at a station carefully before I pull in to make sure there is room to get out and also I never use any of the pumps except the one on the outside islands. If that is what you are asking.
