We drove 12 from Torrey to Bryce and on to US 89 with the Journey towing our Cherokee. I can't recall anything that would keep me from doing it again. This will also be the route that I will take the next time I go from Arches to Bryce.
+1
We drove this in our signature rig with absolutely no problems. I do not remember any curves sharp enough to require us to cross the centerline. I think the biggest problem is the fear some have of going over the right side and down the mountain so they hug the centerline. The road is plenty wide enough for legal rigs to meet and pass. We also had no problems with the grades though we were heading north so we probably climbed the 14% ones instead of descending them.
If the same road was on flat, level ground with an eight foot shoulder, no one would think twice about driving it!
