- rvnuttsExplorer IIThank you for all the responses. We are traveling from South Ar to Sturgis ths summer to visit Mt. Rushmore and surrounding area. Carthage is a one night stop, not a destination. I had no tunnels programmed in my Trip Wizard and thats why the tunnel warning popped up. Campground Mi Casa in Carthage got pretty good reviews so thats our first stop! Again, thanks for your help! It puts my mind at ease!

There is a tunnel on I-49 in Arkansas. But it is south of Fayetteville.
Bobby Hopper Tunnel
The Bobby Hopper tunnel is no issue for an RV. I have pulled my 13'6" Montana through it probably 50 times. - BusskipperExplorer

- PawPaw_n_GramExplorerThe tunnel is south of Fayetteville and not even a concern for RVs. The two passages are each 38 feet wide with a center height of over 25 ft, and lowest shoulder height about 20 feet high.
Northbound traffic does have a bit of a climb, and southbound a descent. Total distance is a bit short of 1,600 ft. - rvnuttsExplorer IIThanks! I wonder why trip wizard says there is a tunnel?
- WE-C-USAExplorerNo tunnel on I-49 between Fayetteville & Carthage.
